# Muse multimodal advisory review

Reviewer: `opencode/muse-spark-1.3-contributor-free`.
Review session: `ses_ee5521531ffer3dU4JcLOYfXrH`.
Human typography review pending. No winner, logo approval or alignment decision.

The reviewer reported actual multimodal inspection of the original JPEG and
five final rendered plates: Turkish, English, glyph comparisons, horizontal
and stacked. No tracing, generation or changes were performed.

## Advisory findings (condensed from returned review)

- **Critical source-fidelity:** M's splayed legs, pointed shoulders and deep V
  cannot match the source's upright/blunt construction by changing weight.
- **Critical source-fidelity:** A's pointed apex and crossbar/counter geometry
  differ from the source. Changes the top line's overall character.
- **High source-fidelity:** G has incompatible return/aperture/bar construction;
  Ğ's deeper U-shaped breve alters the second glyph's dominance.
- **High weight:** 400/450 visibly light, 500 still light in some places, higher
  samples overshoot in other glyphs. No exact TR match. Reviewer described 550
  as closer in full-word stem mass, but this is not a selection or approval.
- **Medium:** S more open/wide; İ dots vary strongly with weight; English all
  thinner than source (200 particularly weak, 350 closer but still thinner).
- **Medium:** D less structurally risky than A/M/G, but its counter differs.
- **Low composition:** both layouts preserve Turkish/English hierarchy and have
  no visible seal/type collisions; spacing remains an unselected review state.
- **Study caveats:** original JPEG blur versus sharp vectors affects judgment;
  common-width tracking is deliberately adjusted, not natural Jost setting.

## Director's factual reconciliation

AI visual criticism is advisory and may itself be inaccurate. Three statements
in the returned review conflict with independently measured final output:

1. It called Jost A's counter smaller. At 500 the measured counter is **larger**:
   approximately 38×44px versus source 34×39px. The shared-scale evidence and
   quantitative caveat are retained, not the reviewer's size assertion.
2. It said the red apostrophe grows/higher at 600/650. The punctuation path is
   identical across all six trials, with one measured 30×49px envelope. The
   adjacent-letter placement changes with tracking, not apostrophe size.
3. It described the breve as closer to the cap. Its perceived gap is ambiguous;
   final-outline measurements and actual overlays show a deeper, higher accent.
   No unsupported claim of exact diacritic fidelity is accepted.

JPEG blur can influence perceived weight, but does not prove that all source
stems are inflated by a known amount. ±1 native-pixel uncertainty is explicitly
reported rather than treating the reviewer's speculation as ground truth.

The main structural warnings independently corroborate the self-review:
**Jost does not exactly reproduce the reference, regardless of weight.**
